Minh Ha Quang (Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Genova, Italy)
Minh Ha Quang is Researcher in Pattern Analysis and Computer Vision at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in Genova, Italy. He received his PhD in Mathematics from Brown University, USA, in May 2006. His research interests are in applied and computational functional analysis, machine learning, and statistics, with applications in computer vision and image processing.


Vikas Sindhwani (IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, New York)
Vikas Sindhwani is Researcher and Manager of the Machine Learning group at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York.  He received his PhD in computer science from the University of Chicago in 2007. His research interests are in Machine Learning and Distributed Optimization on Big Data.


Vittorio Murino (Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Genova, and University of Verona, Italy)
Vittorio Murino is Full Professor in Computer Science at the University of Verona, Italy and Director of the PAVIS (Pattern Analysis and Computer Vision) department at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. His main research interests include computer vision and pattern recognition/machine learning, in particular probabilistic techniques for image and video processing, with applications on video surveillance, biomedical image analysis and bioinformatics. Professor  Murino is co-author of more than 300 papers published in refereed journals and international conferences, and member of the editorial board of the journals Pattern Recognition, Pattern Analysis and Applications, Machine Vision & Applications, and IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics. He is senior member of the IEEE and Fellow of the IAPR.
